Arrival is the name of the eleventh studio album by Journey, a rock band from the United States. The album was released in two different versions: one for Japan in October 2000, and one for the US in April 2001. The US version had two new songs that were not on the Japanese version, and one song that was removed. The album was the first one to feature Steve Augeri as the lead singer, replacing Steve Perry, and Deen Castronovo as the drummer, replacing Steve Smith. The album has a mix of hard rock and ballad songs, with a style similar to Perry’s vocals. The album received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Neal Schon’s guitar work but criticized the formulaic nature of some songs. The album reached number 56 on the Billboard 200 chart, and number 12 on the Top Internet Albums chart. The song “All the Way” was a minor hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, peaking at number 22.

Arrival was an important album in Journey’s career, as it helped to revitalize the band and bring them to a new generation of fans. The album also proved that Journey could still be successful without Steve Perry.
