Classic Cocker is a compilation album by the British rock singer Joe Cocker, released in 2007 by Capitol Records. It features 19 of his most popular songs, spanning from his debut album With a Little Help from My Friends (1969) to his latest album Hymn for My Soul (2007). Some of the tracks are live versions, such as “The Letter”, “She Came in Through the Bathroom Window”, “Feelin’ Alright” and “With a Little Help from My Friends”. The album also includes his duet with Jennifer Warnes, “Up Where We Belong”, which won an Academy Award and a Grammy Award for Best Original Song in 1983. Classic Cocker showcases Cocker’s distinctive raspy voice and soulful style, covering a range of genres from rock, blues, pop and R&B.
