Classic Iggy Pop – Pop, Iggy

Classic Iggy Pop is a compilation album by American rock singer Iggy Pop, released in 2001. The album features some of his most popular songs from his solo career, as well as his collaborations with David Bowie, The Stooges, and other artists. The album covers a span of more than two decades, from his debut solo album The Idiot in 1977 to his 1999 album Avenue B. Some of the highlights include “Lust for Life”, “The Passenger”, “China Girl”, “Real Wild Child (Wild One)”, and “Candy”. The album also includes two previously unreleased tracks: “Pain & Suffering” and “Rock and Roll Party”. Classic Iggy Pop is a great introduction to the influential and eclectic work of one of the pioneers of punk rock, who has been called “the Godfather of Punk” and “the Iguana”.
