This is a brief summary of the album If You Can’t Stand The Heat by the English rock band Status Quo, released in 1982 and reissued in 1991. The album was recorded in Holland and produced by Pip Williams, who gave it a more atmospheric and pop-oriented sound than their previous work. The album features brass and female backing vocals for the first time on a Status Quo record, as well as the use of Aphex Aural Exciter technology. The album reached #3 in the UK charts and was certified gold in several countries. The album includes the singles Again and Again, I’m Giving Up My Worryin’, Accident Prone and Oh! What a Night.
