L’Intégrale des enregistrements originaux Decca-Barclay – Jean Ferrat is a 12-CD box set of all the songs recorded by Jean Ferrat for the Decca and Barclay labels between 1960 and 1976. Jean Ferrat was a famous French singer-songwriter, known for his text-based songs, inspired melodies and political commitment. He set several poems by Louis Aragon to music and sang about love, nature, resistance, revolt and nostalgia. Among his best-known songs are La Montagne, Nuit et Brouillard, C’est beau la vie and Potemkine. This boxed set is an anthology of his musical work, which bears witness to his talent and sensitivity.
