Love in a Black Dimension is the debut album by Italian acid jazz band Jestofunk. Released in 1995, the album showcases the band’s fusion of funk, soul, house and electronic music, influenced by artists such as James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic, Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis. The album features guest vocals by American singers CeCe Rogers and Jocelyn Brown, as well as Italian rapper Blade. The album spawned several singles, including « Say It Again », « Can We Live » and « I’m Gonna Love You », which became club hits in Europe and the US. Love in a Black Dimension is widely regarded as one of the best and most influential albums of the acid jazz genre, and a classic of Italian dance music.
