Raw to the Bone – Johnny Winter

Raw to the Bone is the 15th studio album by blues rock legend Johnny Winter, released in 2023. The album showcases Winter’s signature guitar style and powerful vocals, as well as his passion for the blues. The album features 10 original songs and two covers, including a tribute to his hero Muddy Waters. The album was recorded live in the studio with Winter’s longtime band, featuring Tommy Shannon on bass and Uncle John Turner on drums. The album received critical acclaim and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
