Strange Charm is an album by Gary Numan, a British musician who pioneered electronic music in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The album was released in November 1986 on Numan’s own label, Numa Records, and was his third independent release after leaving his major label contract. The album features a mix of synth-pop, industrial, and new wave influences, and includes collaborations with Ade Orange, Bill Sharpe, and Dick Morrissey. The album was not very successful commercially, but it contains some of Numan’s most experimental and diverse songs, such as “My Breathing”, “New Thing from London Town”, and the title track. The album was reissued in 1999 with bonus tracks in both the UK and the US.
