The Definitive Collection – Joe Cocker

The Definitive Collection is a compilation album by Joe Cocker, released in 2002 by Festival Mushroom Records and Universal Music Australia. It features 18 of his greatest hits, spanning from his debut album With a Little Help from My Friends (1969) to his latest release at the time, Night Calls (1991). The album showcases Cocker’s distinctive raspy voice and his interpretation of various rock, pop, soul, and reggae songs by other artists. Some of the highlights include his cover of The Beatles’ “She Came in Through the Bathroom Window”, his duet with Jennifer Warnes on “Up Where We Belong”, his rendition of Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved”, and his signature song “You Are So Beautiful”. The Definitive Collection is a must-have for any fan of Joe Cocker or classic rock music.
