The Polydor Years 1975-1986 is a boxed set that contains the first eight albums by the hard rock band Rainbow, as well as an extra double CD with previously unreleased and re-recorded tracks. The set was released in Japan in 2007 and in Europe in 2014 by Polydor Records. The set covers the band’s career from their debut album Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow to their final album with singer Joe Lynn Turner, Bent Out of Shape. The set also includes a 40-page booklet with liner notes and photos of the band.
