Loverboy VI is the sixth studio album by the Canadian rock band Loverboy, released in 1997. It was their first album of new material since 1987’s Wildside. The album features 12 tracks, including the singles “Big Picture” and “Waiting for the Night”. The album was produced by Mike Reno and Paul Dean, who also wrote most of the songs. The album received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the band’s energy and musicianship, but criticized the lack of originality and innovation. Loverboy VI peaked at number 175 on the Billboard 200 chart, and sold about 30,000 copies in the US.
