Walk on Water is the fourteenth studio album by the British hard rock band UFO, released in 1995. It marked the reunion of the classic lineup of Phil Mogg, Michael Schenker, Pete Way, Andy Parker and Paul Raymond, who had not recorded together since 1979. The album features 10 new songs, as well as two re-recorded versions of their classic hits “Doctor Doctor” and “Lights Out”. The album was first released in Japan with an additional track called “Message for Japan”, before being released in other countries with different bonus tracks and covers. The album was produced by Ron Nevison, who had also worked with UFO on their previous albums in the late 1970s. Walk on Water received positive reviews from critics and fans, but did not chart well. The band toured extensively to support the album, but Schenker left again in 1998, leading to another lineup change.
Walk on Water is a solid hard rock album that is worth checking out by fans of the band. It is not their best album, but it is still a worthwhile addition to their discography.
