Rush was a Canadian rock band that formed in 1968 and achieved international fame with their progressive and hard rock music. The band consisted of Geddy Lee on vocals, bass and keyboards, Alex Lifeson on guitar and Neil Peart on drums and lyrics. Rush is known for their complex compositions, virtuosic musicianship and philosophical themes. They have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
